Hillel House
| An enthusiastic audience composed of delegates and association members gathered at Hillel House .After the welcome by the National Chairman Harold Newman and the President?s Message; they were shown a short film commissioned by the association to give the broad perspective of Jewish involvement in the military life of the United Kingdom over the last 250 years. "Jews in the British Armed Forces" was greeted with acclamation and will prove to be a valuable tool in our educational arsenal. |

The "Jews in the British Armed Forces" Film
| Lasting approx 25 minutes it is intended for use with the Schools educational programme and the mobile museum exhibition. It will also be available for branches to utilise at meetings and special events. |

Other Points
Divisional reports made it clear the AJEX was functioning well and that members were dedicated to continue to uphold the ideals of the association.
In general comments made after his Museum report, Henry Morris voiced his disappointment that defence was no longer considered to be a vital part of our work. Many delegates agreed with him and the National Chairman promised that he would take this into consideration and report back in due course.
The Parade and Rally date was confirmed for the 18th November 2007. A special plea was made for members to support the AJEX contingent at the National Parade on 11th November 2007.
The conference concluded at 1pm and a short meeting of the new National Executive Council followed shortly afterwards |
