The Jewish Military Museum Schools Program
   About The Program
The schools program aims to: -
  • Be a resource which will reflect elements of the National Curriculum in subjects such as history and citizenship studies. An additional theme emphasises the importance of remembrance.
  • Opportunities for interactive discussions, in small groups, between pupils and veterans, thereby facilitating first hand stories of "what it was like". We cover military (army, navy, air force) and home front aspects of the war in a totally friendly and unthreatening manner.
With the use of mobile displays and memorabilia we provide a capsule to be used in the classroom or lecture hall for students for periods from 25 minutes during assembly or lunch break, to a full one day seminar.
