The rise in antisemitism in the 1930s was one of the driving forces behind the foundation of AJEX and this in due course led to the establishment of what is now the CST. Community Security Trust (CST) is a charity that protects British Jews from antisemitism and related threats.
We at AJEX JMA continue as an organisation to fight against antisemitism, often under the radar, by highlighting through our work in education and Remembrance, the outstanding role of Jewish servicemen and women in securing our freedom in the past and today.
With the recent rise in antisemitism, this work has never been more crucial.
By educating both within and outside of our community of the unique and remarkable contribution of Jews from every part of our community to British society, we fight to dispel the antisemitic trope of duplicity and aim to combat antisemitism by positively showcasing our patriotism and contribution to this country in which we take great pride.
If anyone has any concerns about antisemitic activity, contact the CST for help or advice on 0800 032 3263, and for any urgent assistance call the Police on 999.
