The National Armed Forces Week

In June each year as part of National Armed Forces Week, AJEX holds a special ceremony at the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire to celebrate the significant contribution of Jewish servicemen and women to HM Armed Forces, both past and present.

The National Memorial Arboretum is a stunning parkland providing a moving tribute to those who have served and sacrificed. It houses hundreds of memorials, including the AJEX Memorial Garden which was one of the first memorials erected at the site and where our is ceremony is held.

Following the service there is an opportunity to visit other memorials at the site including the Armed Forces memorial that contains the names of those who have fallen since the end of WW2.
