Proudly Remembering at Willesden Jewish Cemetery

At our Annual Service of Remembrance at Willesden Jewish Cemetery, AJEX paid tribute to the more than 120,000 Jewish servicemen and women who served in the British Armed Forces, with special Remembrance for those with no known grave.

This year, we also marked the 90th anniversary of the Battle of Cable Street and the 110th anniversary of the Battle of the Somme, remembering the courage, sacrifice and resilience of those who came before us.
From veterans to cadets, it was especially moving to see generations standing together, ensuring that the legacy of Jewish service and sacrifice lives on.
